Picking up and dropping off children is a routine activity carried out by the community, especially for parents who have children at elementary school (SD). Banjarbaru City Department of Transportation is under the government of Banjarbaru City. Where the transportation policy is regulated by the Banjarbaru City government. One of them is the policy of operating free student transportation, which began operating in 2017.
The result of the observation analysis is only data collection regarding the driver, car and pick-up point. Due to the absence of data collection on students, it will have an impact if the number of students and the number of seats exceeds the capacity, so waiting for the next student transportation if there are still seats left, if students do not use public transportation, it will allow students to be late arriving at school. To improve services, an application was made to collect data on student transportation for free, so that the number of students and seating capacity was appropriate, so that there were no more students waiting for other transportation.
Based on user acceptance regarding the benefits of software with 10 respondents and 10 questions, it was found that the average respondent answered 26% strongly agreed, 56% agreed and 18% disagreed that applications can collect data, can minimize driver delay, provide benefits to users, applications has the ability and function according to expectations and the application can be applied to the Department of Transportation.
