Free textbooks are a fundamental part of public education in Mexico, this application shows elementary level textbooks.
Since 1921, the teacher José Vasconcelos inspired children and young people when he ordered the production of 21,000 books of Classical Lectures, in two volumes. Eighty years later -in 2001-, CONALITEG formed the basis of the national reading program "Towards a country of readers" with the creation of the Classroom Libraries and School Libraries programs, the objective of which is to bring children, youth and adults from all schools in the country to books of the highest quality.
