Reus Compra Responsable is a unique and singular project, born to promote the transformation of the city's business model, adapt it to the socio-economic challenges posed by the COVID crisis19 and strengthen the viability of local trade as a source of employment and economic activity. .

For the first time, the trade sector in Reus is building a municipal alliance. Under the same project we have joined the two main trade associations (Union of Shopkeepers of Reus and El Tomb of Reus), the grouping of shops of social and solidarity economy (Solidarity Trade of Reus), the cooperativism of Reus (Pol Cooperatiu of Reus), the City Council of Reus (IMFE Mas Carandell and Agència Reus Promoció) and the Third Sector specialized in social parcels (Fundació Formació i Treball).

With Reus compra Responsable, we present a model of online commerce and ecological home delivery for the whole city, based on the principles of ESS and responsible consumption. Through this project, local commerce is able to build a sustainable, fair and relocated alternative to transnational models of online shopping and home delivery that are threatening the continuity of the local business fabric.
