The story of The Heavy Heifer tells the story of Adam Kret - the Adamoviec kapřiara who plays in the winter. As the name says, the main theme of the book is heifer, which Adam will buy from his wife, Eva. In addition to this, she has to buy other small items needed for the household.
In the first chapter the author describes Krt's path to the fair held in Mrhanov and his relationship to money. In the second he writes about a strange event that happened one day when Mrhanova's head had a bargain. As Richtar was not trying to make a dinner for the entire city, he told the reporter, the headmaster of Mrhanov's clock to move his hands two hours back. The chapter also captures a meeting with the dealer - Šmálkom, who offered him a fake mellow heifer. Adam almost bought it, but then there were disagreements in the conversion of the graysciers to Roman. In the third chapter, Adam buys these small pieces and the author reveals the cause of Adam Kret's two-year dispute with his neighbor Adam Trnka. The fourth chapter describes the relationship between the neighbors and the sale of the Thick Fat and Feature Heifer Krt. In the fifth chapter, the neighbors are coming home and are making plans for their Eve to be deceived. Well, here's the problem. Jalovica disappeared! The godfathers tried to find the heifer, but it was mad. There was no tea anywhere. They even went to the richtar for the fair because Adam Krt wanted to get back his money he paid back to the neighbor for the heifer. But even the guy did not help them and so he changed again. In the sixth chapter, the author describes Krta's moments up to a dangerous journey from the yarmok home. Since he was really spirited, it was not just that he only rescued him. Then he can not find his house. When he finally managed to do so, after the inventory of the purchase, of which there was only a really dirty pit, in front of a woman, the last thing he did on that day was to lie on the bench. Sleep. In the last seventh chapter of Adam, a woman is thrown out of the house after a furious dialogue, and our dear Krt has ever strayed - no one knows where.
