With a big, fat "Good day - good day" welcomed the weekly Bamberg on 30 September 1981 its first readers. With a weekly circulation of 62,200 copies of this sheet display launched in the economic area of Bamberg. Since then, of course, a lot has happened and changed. The circulation rose steadily to now almost 90,000 copies, from the weekly paper was the wobla and the images were more colorful.
But the common thread of the premiere has remained until today: In an entertaining way this "weekly newspaper for the region" to inform its readers about interesting facts from Bamberg and the surrounding area. Whether business or sport, diversions or concerts, Amusing or Annoying - a look into wobla always worthwhile.
