What is a livelihood benefit? Livelihood allowance refers to the provision of clothing, food and fuel costs, and other basic necessities for daily life to recipients to help them maintain their livelihood.
The standard for selecting livelihood benefits will be raised from 30% to 32% of the standard median income in 2024, after 7 years. As a result, the maximum livelihood benefit for a four-person household will increase by 13.16%, the largest ever, from 1,620,289 won this year to 1,833,572 won next year.
