Cikalongsari Village PKK is a digital information system that facilitates data collection and socialization in the field of Empowerment and Family Welfare within the village scope.
This digital application system is still focused on Working Group IV namely Visual Acetate Acid Inspection (IVA TEST) during the whole Pokja renewal period.
Cikalongsari Village, Jatisari Subdistrict, Karawang Regency, on 30 November 2019, won the West Java PKK Mover Team to the IVA TEST field and the second champion in the PAAR field representing Karawang Regency.
IVA (Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid) is one method of early detection of cervical cancer. Screening with IVA is stated to be easier, simpler, and cheaper than pap smear tests, because this IVA examination provides great hope to be protected from the malignant effects of cervical cancer, the most common type of cancer found in women aged 25 years and over.
The problem facing the prevention of cervical cancer is the low coverage of early detection or cancer screening.
Cancer is a growth of cells that is not normal or continuous and uncontrolled, can damage the surrounding tissue, and can spread to a place far from its origin called metastasis. Cervical cancer itself is a malignancy that occurs from cervical cells. Cervical cancer or cervical cancer is the second highest number of cancers after breast cancer in Indonesia.
Cervical cancer or cervical cancer is one of the biggest female diseases in the world with a prevalence of 17.85%.
