About Kinshasa BoPeto

President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi launched this Saturday, October 19 in the Bandalungwa commune of Kinshasa, the Kinshasa Bopeto operation (Kinshasa proper). This program initiated by the city governor Gentiny Ngobila, aims to make the city of Kinshasa healthy by fighting against the filth that strews the avenues and main arteries of the capital of the DRC.

For Félix Tshisekedi who addressed the Kinshasa in Lingala, the language mainly spoken in the city, the cleanliness of Kinshasa will start from everyone's head and the desire to keep the communes clean will allow the capital to regain its sanitation.

According to the head of state, the problem of cleanliness is crucial for the city of Kinshasa. Malaria, typhoid fever and other illnesses stem from the fact that residents of Kinshasa throw litter everywhere, even in the gutters, President Tshisekedi said. He also noted that cleanliness will solve many health problems.

He asks young people to take ownership of this fight against unhealthiness in the city of Kinshasa. He recalls that he and all those who have been chosen have the mission not to enrich themselves, but to improve the lives of the population.
