The RescueAid Mobile App is a location-based tracking and monitoring tool that captures real-time data from the user's smartphone sensors, including GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope, and camera. The app runs in the background and automatically collects location data and sensor readings at regular intervals of n seconds, as defined by the user.
In addition, the app captures photos at the same intervals to provide a visual record of the user's activities and surroundings. The user can set the interval time for location and sensor data collection and photo capture.
The collected data is published through ROS to the RescueAid Web Platform to view the data and photos, and tracking the user's movements. The collected data is stored securely in the database, and can be analyzed later for various purposes, such as monitoring fitness activities, tracking the user's movements, or generating insights for scientific research.
