Gagana Sāmoa

This app is a tool to learn, pronounce, spell and speak the Sāmoan Language. This is also the contribution of the Si’ufofoga ‘o le Laumua Trust to grow, maintain and retain the Sāmoan Language. Producing this app is a great innovative way for people to learn & speak the Samoan language. When swiping your finger across a letter, word, or sentence in the Samoan language on this app, you can hear how to say and pronounce the same. We have used the original spelling of the Samoan words with Glottal stop and macron as found in the early publications of the Samoan Bible. This will greatly assist second language learners with the pronunciation of vowels and words.
