About Parkinsounds®

One of the most common symptoms associated with Parkinson's disease is tremor. There are many other factors that harm the patient's independence and self-esteem. Among them, the gait disorder or progressive gait disorder caused by Parkinson's disease is a particularly serious problem.

Using music for these issues can help.

A number of independent scientific studies have emphasized the importance of music in Parkinson's rehabilitation, and have also found that music is of great help in the gait impairment caused by Parkinson's disease. Specifically, the use of rhythm patterns for auditory stimulation has been found to be effective in improving gait disorders in many cases.

The principle is this. The rhythm of the music allows the patient to control his or her steps. Music promotes new neural connections in healthy brain areas to compensate for damaged brain areas. Music causes the brain to release dopamine, a natural chemical that is involved in pleasure and motor control. (As is known, dopamine deficiency is directly related to Parkinson's disease.)

We have combined science and music using the right technology.

Welcome to PARKINSOUND®.

PARKINSOUNDS® is designed to be user-friendly and easy to use. There are 3 easy steps to operate the app.

1. PARKINSOUNDS® helps you find the ideal speed for your patient. Each patient has a different gait speed that responds best to music therapy, and the built-in digital metronome helps you find the right pace.

2. When the pace that best suits the patient is stored, PARKINSOUND® automatically selects a song that matches that beat. This allows patients to choose from a number of songs.

3. With PARKINSOUNDS®, you can enhance the original beat by adding a beep to your patient's favorite song, making your music more functional in recycled drawings.

PARKINSOUNDS® is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease. However, with frequent use, especially when used in accordance with the instructions of a healthcare practitioner, it may gradually have a positive effect on walking ability. The best part is that patients can improve their walking ability to match their favorite song.
