KURIFTU WATER PARK

Located in the city of Bishoftu, 35 km from the capital Addis Ababa, the Kuriftu water park is the largest water park in East Africa and the first of its kind. Open since August 2019, it is part of a development of 90,000 square meters which includes a resort hotel and a shopping village known as the Ethiopian cultural village and offering shops of handicrafts and Ethiopian clothing. In addition to revitalizing the local economy and the tourism industry, the complex is home to many small businesses and employs nearly 1,000 young Ethiopians in its park, shops and restaurants.
With over 30,000 square meters of fun activities and walks for young and old, including a wave pool, Boomerang slide, Fekat circus and more, the water park promises to become the number one destination for entertainment and tourism from Ethiopia and Africa.
