About KWC Smart Connect
The KWC Smart Connect app is the smartest way to manage taps. Users can currently use it with KWC Professional's F7 electronic pillar taps and F5 wall-mounted mixers (electronic, hydraulic, single-lever).
Mobile communication is made possible by the connectivity module (C-module), which connects the tap to the app.
The KWC Smart Connect app allows access to the tap's functions in order to configure individual settings and record usage data. Settings such as water flow time and sensor range can be parameterised. General information, e.g. on the battery status, is displayed, and relevant statistical data can be exported and saved.
Compared to a water management system established at building level, the installation and cost expenditure for the combination of C-module and KWC Smart Connect app remains manageable and still ensures the highest possible drinking water hygiene and comfort. The app allows up to 100 taps to be securely networked wirelessly, as it is password-protected. The advantage: the tap functions can be assigned to both individual taps and groups of taps – without additional investment in higher-level control hardware.
