LABB, a must-have app for parents of 4-9 year olds who want to improve their children's literacy and reading habits
It is a reading platform for parents that keeps a reading record of the books read to their children, analyzes them, and recommends books that can develop children's cognitive development and interest in reading.
01. Reading Log
- A record of the books you read to your child
You can create an objective and comprehensive reading record in the order of your child's reading reaction, questions and answers, and keywords.
It takes about 3 minutes to write such a systematic reading record!
- A taste of communication felt through post-reading activities
During the reading record, I suggest a question that is good to have a conversation with your child.
As part of a post-reading activity, talk with your child about a given topic.
02. Book recommendation
- Recommend books suitable for your child's interest and level
The developmental speed and interests of each child at this stage are very different. LABB analyzes the reading history and recommends books that take into account your child's cognitive development and interests as much as possible.
Books of appropriate level and content read at this time can stimulate or satisfy children's intellectual desires and awaken the joy of learning in children.
- Check whether the recommended books are owned by the library
If there is a public library nearby, register as a library of interest.
When recommending a book, you can check whether the book is in the library of interest.
- The number of book recommendations you get every time you leave a reading record
For each reading record, you can get 5 book recommendations.
03. Book Album
- Children's reading activities at a glance
You can check how your child is reading and growing with what kind of thoughts and feelings by book field.
Check out LABB's book album for an analysis of reading activity that focuses on quality, not just quantity of reading.
