Also shows Marine Radio Channel 1 data for Chicago / Southern Lake Michigan (Winthrop Harbor to Calumet Harbor) in Plain Text for fast load. Radar & Cloud Maps on tabs plus location if you're lost on the Lake under HELP! tab. This is a simple app I created for myself to use at Hammond Marina but I decided to share it for anybody who wants to use it. It tells you instantly what's important before you go out.
Data for entire Lake Michigan and local Chicago area current conditions information for Wilmette Harbor, Northerly Island and Calumet Harbor. Also includes U.S. Coast Guard contact info for emergency needs with a location map. No warranty expressed or implied on accuracy of third party map locating.
This app is a replacement of my original, which was plagued with pop-up ads and crazy permissions from a third party developer. I dropped that app and made this one, it's much better. If you have the old 'Lake Michigan Marine Forecast' app please uninstall it, I removed it from the Play store. No pop-ups and annoying permission requests in this version. Only permissions needed are Network Access to download weather updates (when app is open only) and Location Access to find you on the map if you select the HELP! button, and that's it.
