In the middle of the desert at the foot of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi is a hostel like no other, the guest house of the family SEGGAOUI.

Here, you will have every chance to experience authentic Berber hospitality in a warm family atmosphere.

The brothers Seggaoui, Ali, Lahcen and Omar welcome you to Merzouga, a grandiose site of the Moroccan Desert, at the foot of the dunes of the Erg Chebbi, real moving sculptures in the form of draperies, which culminate at 150 meters.

Far from mass tourism, they offer you, in addition to a quality accommodation, a range of activities, according to your aspirations, ranging from Berber cooking course to hiking in the desert camel, with bivouac under the nomad tent.

The house is located in the village of Hassi Labied, at the foot of the dunes, 4 km before Merzouga. It has 10 double, triple and air-conditioned rooms with a beautiful view of the terrace.

At the level of the activities, you have the choice between excursions with back of camel (Go to see the rising or the sunset on the dunes, Spend a night in the desert: bivouac in Berber tent in the middle of the dunes.), Excursions in 4x4 (Discover Erg Chebbi, tour dunes, visit Berber villages, rock carvings, fossil quarries), and visit the Berber village, the palm grove with irrigation systems, bread ovens, initiation to Berber cuisine and languages, as well as downhill dunes skiing.

The activity makes it possible to live directly and decently the Seggaoui family, and the families of the two village women employed for the cooking and the maintenance of the guest house, a total of 17 people. To this must be added the 2 guides and camel drivers in the area to whom the Seggaoui family uses to organize your excursions.

Short and local circuits are the rule.

On your plate, you will find the excellent vegetables grown in the palm grove of the village, lamb nomadic herders, spices and other products from the 4 grocery stores of the village and the market of Rissani.

Jewelry and rugs come from local crafts. Even the clay walls are built with clay found on site.

Your stay with the Seggaoui family will allow you to discover the culture and
heritage "Amazigh" while participating directly in the development of local resources and the development of the village of Hassi Labied.
