Launched in May 2018, this online free tool measures the vocabulary richness of a text. It also provides evidence about language use that helps to produce more appropriate language in terms of utilizing efficient sets of vocabulary. A text is analyzed through pulling rich vocabulary resources against valid reference word lists, namely General Service List, Academic Word List, Discourse Connectors List, The Academic Collocation List, Frequent Phrasal Verbs and Phrasal Expressions List. The ultimate goal of this tool is to assist language users in developing and using vocabulary items more effectively.
