- Customers using LG U+
※ You can sign up and use only your mobile phone under your name.
※ You can also use it on mobile phones under the corporate name of LG U+ and MVNOs (affordable phones).
However, it is not available for affordable phones (corporate).
※ Those under the age of 14 can use the service after the consent of their guardian (legal representative)
[main function]
- Identification: Simple identification through password and biometric authentication through the PASS app and verification details can be viewed
- Mobile ID: You can register your driver's license and resident registration card in PASS, and you can conveniently use it with the same legal effect as a physical ID.
- Smart ticket: When boarding a domestic flight, you can check your ID card and flight ticket information with a single QR code
- PASS certificate: Various financial and public business authentication and login, electronic signature provision
- E-documents: Provide public institution certificate issuance, reading, and submission services
- PASS Money: A service that withdraws the money accumulated in PASS to my account like cash
- Asset inquiry and recommendation: Search my scattered assets and recommend financial products suitable for me
- Mobile phone payment: Cell phone payment usage history, limit inquiry and change
- Providing various services that provide useful information and benefits in real life, such as finance, health, security, and mobile phone quote inquiry
- Spam/fraud caution information notification: spam/fraud/phishing/smishing detection and warning information for the caller ID when SMS or call is received
[Information Use]
- The PASS service is a free service provided by LG U+.
- Sign up: After installing the app, when you complete your identity verification, register your password or biometric authentication information to use in the PASS app to complete your service subscription.
-Simple identity verification: If you complete authentication through the PASS app, simple identity verification is completed. If you set app notifications to ON, you can use it faster. (No notification when authentication is attempted after deleting the app)
- Mobile driver's license confirmation: You can register your driver's license in the PASS app and use it safely online / offline. In particular, offline, verification is completed when the institution/verifier who requested the QR code/barcode on the mobile driver's license screen reads the code.
-Resident registration card mobile verification: You can register the information contained in your resident registration card in the PASS app to verify your identity without a real resident registration card. Authenticity verification is completed when the institution/verifier reads the QR code offline.
- PASS certificate: You can receive and use a certificate after completing identity verification and account verification under your name. The issued certificate is valid for 3 years.
- Real-time financial fraud warning: You can receive a pop-up notification when you receive a call or text message from a suspected number of spam, fraud, or phishing by setting spam/fraud alert information.
[Notice]
- Available from Android OS 6 or higher, and the fingerprint authentication method may be limited depending on the phone model.
- Terminals released by other carriers may be restricted from using the service.
- If you change the mobile phone usage environment arbitrarily (rooting, hacking, etc.), the PASS service may not work.
- The app password is not stored separately for privacy protection, so please be careful not to forget the password!

1. Essential access rights
-Call permission: Required to obtain mobile phone status information so that you can manage or connect the call status required to connect to the customer center.
2. Optional access rights
-Storage space permission: Used to store certificates in storage and attach images or photos when using additional services.
- Camera permission: Used for authentication with QR code, taking a picture of a driver's license, and verifying an ID.
- Bio information authority: Used for fingerprint authentication for identity verification.
- Location information authority: Used to confirm the location of the device when submitting (transmitting) a mobile driver's license confirmation to financial institutions, public institutions, etc.
-SMS Permission: Required to use spam/fraud/phishing/smishing detection function of incoming SMS.
- Phone permission: Required to use the spam/fraud/phishing/smishing detection function of incoming calls.
