Stage 7 Unit 1 introduces the vowel graphemes ai, ay, ee, ea, igh, ie, oa.
Each book provides vocabulary and comprehension questions.
All words, except the Heart words, can be ‘sounded out’. To do this, children point to
each letter or grapheme, saying the sounds then blending the sounds together to
read the word.
