At the end of 1983, Xavier Parera, a 29-year-old young entrepreneur, founded BOPAN PROMOCIONES
ALIMENTARIAS S.A. Our first store in Rambla Catalunya 119 BCN nation in June 1984 under one
concepto nuevo "la boutique del bread", where bread was widely used as a gastronomic concept.
Ten years later, in 1994, we opened the fourth BOPAN store at Travesera de Gracia 64 in BCN.
BOPAN was already a recognized brand and leader in the artisan bakery and pastry sector in
Barcelona for excellence in quality throughout the value added chain. Todas nuestras tiendas, sin
renouncing the tradition and our roots of artisan bakeries, they will incorporate the concept of “de cocina
Mediterranean, radically homemade and healthy".
Today we continue to be a reference in Barcelona through the concept BANADERIA / CAFÉTERIA /
RESTAURANT where you can savor moments of quality and pleasure. Today our stores are spaces of
Warm and cozy rooms to make you feel at home.
