Accessible and quality journalism. This is the proposal of the Lume application, a news aggregator and curator that will offer relevant content produced by nine independent journalism organizations in the Northeast region of Brazil. Allied to this, it will also apply the necessary accessibility for people with visual impairments to have access to the tool and to the information published successfully.
The app brings together text, photo and video content that are part of reports on Human Rights, Health, Citizenship, Security, Culture, Environment and other topics of public interest. The news can be explored, saved and shared with everyone who is part of your social networks.
It's free and with a simple interface to allow reaching the news easily and just a few clicks away.
*The application is available for smartphones compatible with the Android system. For questions or suggestions, please contact us at lume@marcozero.org.
