Law 580/93 on the 'Reorganization of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture' in art. 2 paragraph 5, as amended by Legislative Decree 219/16, provides as follows: "Chambers of commerce can assign to special companies the task of carrying out the initiatives functional to the pursuit of their institutional purposes and their program of activities, assigning them the resources financial and instrumental necessary ".

The company, as an operational technical structure supporting the actions of the Chamber, carries out activities of public interest aimed at supporting and developing the local economic system.
