In 1984, a circle for memorizing the Noble Qur’an was established in one of the mosques of the Emirate of Ajman by Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali bin Rashid Al Nuaimi. The aim was to support, free of charge, the orphans and people with limited income deprived of education. With the increase in the number of students and the demand for more education, it was moved to an independently rented center, then moved to a small school building for girls only.
The center was transformed from a center for memorizing the Holy Qur’an into a regular licensed school that teaches the curriculum of the Ministry of Education for the first grades. That was in 1992. With the grace of God Almighty, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, may God protect him, donated a large plot of land to the Foundation in Al Jarf area on Maktoum bin Rashid Street, on which two modern schools for boys and girls were built.
The first fully free education at the state level.
Al Etihad Charity Foundation, through its affiliated schools, is distinguished by providing its educational services completely free of charge to the children of deserving orphans with limited income and needy families, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the parents. The number of beneficiaries reached 42,738 male and female students of 38 nationalities, including 200 an orphan.
