Although his painting is new since his first exhibition at the Galerie Pierre de Paris in 1934, he goes completely unnoticed, attracting only the attention of his boyfriends as director of the film MOMA, JT Soby, Artaud and Giacometti ... partly because the surrealists examined and questioned the art, the death of the painting which proclaimed the sterile Breton, (painter and artist where there is a nozzle), presented him a hole that did not appear before the 60's, for take the direction of the French Academy in Rome.
