The study aimed to evaluate the use of medicinal plants in the community of the area covered by the Itambezinho Family Health Unit, rural location
of the municipality of Campo Largo/PR. This manual presents the medicinal plants most used by this population. The sociocultural relevance of this manual stands out by associating popular knowledge with scientific knowledge, thus allowing users to make use of
medicinal plant insurance based on knowledge of their potential health risks and benefits.
