Our company, URBAN CANOPEE (Canopee Structures SAS), a “spin-off” of the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech since 2016, combines ancestral know-how on climbing plants and technological know-how on light and modular structures as well as on connected objects.
Our first Corolle range, of the green urban furniture type, is a low-carbon and water-saving solution for revegetating dense and concrete urban spaces. Where planting in the ground is impossible, we graft on the city a network of natural, light, modular and reversible vegetation.
Designed to mimic the canopy, the composite material structure is vegetated by climbing plants and benefits from an intelligent watering system.
Without impact on basements, reversible and movable, Corolle is designed to adapt to all types of spaces and to changes in their uses.
Autonomous thanks to its solar power supply and its water reserve, it does not need to be connected to the water network or to the site's electricity network.
The plants associated with Corollas are perennial climbing plants, selected according to several criteria: hook system compatible with the structure, rapid growth growth, tolerance to extreme urban climatic conditions (severe droughts, wind, rains) and aesthetic interest. These plants are cultivated at our partner producer, engaged in a sustainable and local production process.
