The present application was designed with the intention of providing a practical exploration tool in the field. Through the Geolocation it is possible to view your position and, where present, the color and the code of the relative geological formations. This application allows you to view the different geological sheets on a 1: 50,000 scale using the WMS service provided by the cartographic portal, made available from ISPRA: http://sgi2.isprambiente.it/arcgis/services/raster/geo_50k_italia/ImageServer/WMSServer
Some sheets are also accompanied by relevant legends, only where published on the web:
