Automotive Axles is building the Industry 4.0 roadmap for digitizing and optimizing their production processes. The IIoT enablement at AAL is to benefit the manufacturing plant by a way of real time monitoring and control, optimized decision making, reduced costs and improved quality outcome. The IIoT application monitors the production in the plant, arrive KPIs and other parameters of the plant in real time and display it in the application. Machine PLCs communicate with Thingworx Industrial Connectivity which receives data at real time and push to the application.

The main objective of the application are:
 Digitalizing the existing process by changing all manual forms to digital forms
 Improve data integrity by enabling data flow throughout the processes
 Reduce downtime and recovery time by enabling real time monitoring, alerts and notifications.
 Increase data visibility throughout the process by having Plant and line level dashboards
 Monitoring OEE, which includes Availability, Performance and Quality of any process or machine by keeping the management updated on the real time data
 Remote access to Powerful data visualization with insights
