Local Plan is an official document that translates the policies of the Selangor State Structure Plan 2035 and in assisting towards the formation of planning and direction of the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA). The Shah Alam City Council Local Plan Draft 2035 (Substitution) is prepared based on the provisions under Subsection 16 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1976 (Act 172). This provision also allows for modification, cancellation and replacement of existing local plans.
The existing Local Plan is a development proposal until 2020 and requires replacement for the next 15 years in line with the latest State Government policies formulated in the 2035 State Structure Plan.
