In an emergency, deaf people can use the DEC112 app to chat with an emergency call center. Text chat is an easy way for deaf people to get professional help.

In addition, health data and the current location can be sent automatically to the emergency call center. This enables very efficient help.

In Austria you can use it to access the following services:
Fire brigade (emergency call 122)
Police (emergency number 133)
Rescue (emergency call 144)
Mountain rescue (emergency call 140)
Euro emergency number (emergency number 112)
Silent emergency call

The DEC112 App is: Intuitive, Efficient & Secure.
Operating the DEC112 app is very simple.
When making an emergency call, you can concentrate on what is important and not be distracted.
The app uses GPS in the smartphone to determine the exact location.
Your personal data is automatically sent to the emergency call center.
Your data is only stored on your device.
You will only be forwarded to the emergency call center in a secure manner in the event of an emergency call.

There is also an emergency call training mode in the DEC112 app. This way you can learn how to use the app better.

The DEC112 app is a supplement to the deaf SMS (0800 133 133) in Austria.
