MelApp

Melapp returns maps, graphics processing Oratory, as well as historical information on the building and its surroundings, about the artists who worked on the Brotherhood, but also technical information (for experts) of materials, pigments and methods of restoration the stucco and wooden case, without forgetting curiosity and details that can enrich the visitor route; a series of beacon sensors arranged inside the oratory, which activate the app previously downloaded on the mobile device of the visitor, showing on the work explanation screen that is observing; Finally, a series of six paper ballots available to visitors, into which all the information divided into as many themes: the territory of Mele, the Brotherhood and the solemn procession, the Oratorio di Sant'Antonio Abate, stucco Rocco cantons, the cycle of paintings by Carlo Giuseppe Ratti, the processional chest by Anton Maria Maragliano. Tools clear and simple, intended for future tourists.
The overall project has been realized thanks to the Compagnia di San Paolo as a major supporter of Sant'Antonio Abate Brotherhood and the City of Apples. The enhancement project Oratory was directed by Rita Vecchiattini, researcher Restoration of the Department of Architecture and Design (DAD) and performed in collaboration with Carlo Battini, researcher of the Department of Civil Engineering Design, Chemical and Environmental (DICCA) of 'University of Genoa. The restoration directed by the architect Julia Rosatto, was performed by Maria Luisa Carlini, owner together with Stefano Meriana Co.Art the company of Genoa, under the supervision of the Superintendent Archeology, Fine Art and Landscape for the city of Genova Metro and the provinces of Imperia, La Spezia and Savona, and in collaboration with the University of Genoa.
