THE VRR AREA
The VER eTarif app applies to the local public transport timetable in the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr. The VRR extends from the Ruhr area to the Lower Rhine, over parts of the Bergisches Land and the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital Düsseldorf.
VRR NEIGHBORS
Of course, the VER eTarif app also shows you connections to the neighboring transport associations. The VRR borders in the north on the Verkehrsgemeinschaft Münsterland (VGM), in the east on the Verkehrsgemeinschaft Ruhr-Lippe (VRL), in the south on the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (VRS) and the Aachener Verkehrsverbund (AVV) and in the west on the Netherlands.
• The app now shows you the estimated occupancy of a train: low, medium or high. In the trip details even the expected utilization for each stop. Currently, there is only utilization information for local trains (SPNV) in the VRR. In the long term, the capacity utilization of buses and trains should also be forecast.
