Therefore, it is the key strategy for the improvement of the determinants of health and equity, considering social, cultural, environmental aspects, etc., both for the individual himself and for the whole of society. This strategy aims at the generation of healthy environments, considered as community or local settings where there must be opportunities and conditions for both individual and collective development, improving the quality of life and health status, strengthening the ability of people to acquire healthy habits that allow them to face problems related to lifestyles, encouraging, for example, the practice of physical activity, healthy eating and healthy recreation. One of the challenges aims to strengthen the collective / social approach to Health Promotion, avoiding over-dimensioning regarding individual “lifestyles”, it is becoming increasingly evident to act at the level of the social determinants of health, in order to achieve better results in health, quality of life and equity. Currently, the health promotion program aims to "Contribute to the development of public policies at the national, regional and community levels that build opportunities for individuals, families and communities to access healthy environments", within which three environments are identified Priorities for the development of health promotion: community, educational and labor.
