About Mevolution Mediatheek

ORIGINATED IN EDUCATIONAL PRACTICE
The Mevolution library app is part of the Mevolution e-portfolio+. It was made at the express request of pedagogical/educational professionals who want to help children discover who they are and how they can contribute to society from their inner drive. The e-portfolio+ supports this.

INTENTION
The app is intended for literally portraying meaningful moments during the learning/development process of children, young people, pedagogical/educational professionals and parents/carers. Visualizing your own or other people's development can lead to deep reflection for the next development step. It is a process of giving meaning within what we call Social Design Learning. This is necessary to become self-reliant in the complex and dynamic information society of the 21st century.

THE FUNCTIONALITY
With the app you can quickly take photos, videos and audio recordings. You can upload them with a maximum of 20 at a time to your online Media Library in your Mevolution e-portfolio+. And from there you can distribute them further to the e-portfolios of one or more children and others involved.

Photos and videos taken in the app end up in the photo library on your phone/tablet in a separate Mevolution folder. You can also easily remove them from your phone/tablet, if you have put them in the cloud. Simple and safe.

You can also select and upload photos and videos from your phone/tablet's photo library in the app.

MAXIMUM SIZE VIDEOS
We recommend making short video clips. A maximum of three minutes, but preferably shorter. That forces the filmmaker to get to the essence. Choosing a fragment is a first form of reflection.

Therefore, videos can be up to 500MB in size. That equates to a maximum length of about 7.5 minutes at a mobile phone's default setting: 1 minute of video is 65MB at 1080p HD at 30fps. Look at Settings of your phone/tablet to adjust the video size if necessary.
