About 가톨릭 기도문

It is worth talking about the ‘time of the dryness’. The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains this as follows: “The heart feels nothing. No thoughts, no memories, no emotions. I don't even feel any spiritual inspiration. It is like a moment of true faith, a dwelling with Jesus in agony and in the grave” (2731). Dryness makes us think of Good Friday, that night, and the whole day of Good Saturday. In other words, ‘Jesus is not, but in the tomb. Jesus is dead, so we are all alone.’ This is the fundamental thought that causes dryness. Often we do not know what is the cause of the dryness. The reason may lie in ourselves, but it may also depend on God allowing certain circumstances of our outward or inward life. Or, it may be a headache or stomachache that sometimes obstructs your airways. We often don't know why. Mentors of spirituality describe the experience of faith as alternating between times of comfort and times of silence. There are moments when everything is easy, and there are moments where everything is weighed down by a strong sense of weight. When we meet our friends, we often ask: "How are you doing?" The friend answers. “Today is not good.” We are often “depressed”. Soon, there is no feeling, no comfort, no more to do. It's a gloomy day. (…) There are so many such days in life! But being depressed is dangerous. When this “depression” enters the mind, the mind becomes sick. (…) There are people who live with a depressed heart. This is terrible. You can't pray with a depressed heart, and you can't find comfort! A gloomy heart cannot sustain aridità spirituale. The light of the Lord comes in only when your heart is open and bright. If the light of the Lord does not come in, we have to wait with hope. But don't close your heart with melancholy.
