acts are judged by what we meant to accomplish through them
Intention is a great matter, and it is the spirit of actions, and by it the righteousness of deeds, as the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Actions are but by intentions, and each person will have only what he intended.” .

قال الإمام النووي رحمه الله تعالى: [[""أَجْمَعَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ عَلَى عِظَمِ مَوْقِعِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، وَكَثْرَةِ فَوَائِدِهِ وَصِحَّتِهِ..."" ثم قال: ""قَالَ جَمَاهِيرُ الْعُلَمَاءِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعَرَبِيَّةِ وَالْأُصُولِ وَغَيْرُهُمْ: لَفْظَةُ (إِنَّمَا) مَوْضُوعَةٌ لِلْحَصْرِ، تُثْبِتُ الْمَذْكُورَ and denies anything else.”
