Welcome to Track My Tab, a simple app created to help keep track not only of the number of drinks you purchase at an establishment, but the times you purchased them, in order to have a basis for argument with the server in case you feel you have been overcharged — or just to observe your drinking habits.
The display fields consist of an odometer, near the bottom of the screen - the total number of drinks you have purchased since installing this app, and a tripmeter, near the top of the screen - the number of drinks you have purchased in the current establishment.
The large red button in the middle of the screen should be tapped every time you are served a drink. It will increase both the odometer and tripmeter by 1. If you hold it for 3 seconds, you can manually enter the time a drink was served.
Every time this app is started, or every time the red button is tapped, the tripmeter will check the previous transaction: if it is more than 2 hours behind the current time, the tripmeter will be reset to 0 prior to any other transaction occurring. The tripmeter can be manually reset to 0 by tapping the Reset button, to the left of the tripmeter, in case you go to 2 or more establishments to purchase drinks in a short period of time, so you have a clear tab count at each establishment.
To see the times when each of your drinks were served in the current establishment, press the Recent button, to the right of the tripmeter.
To undo the last transaction, whether it is purchasing a drink, or resetting the tripmeter, press the Undo button, to the left of the odometer.
You can use the 3 dot menu in the upper right corner of the screen to view all transactions since you installed this app, delete all transactions from the database, play the tutorial again, or exit the app.
