The Marche Region, contains a "DiVino" jewel among its hills, LA TENUTA Rio Maggio, one of the main wineries in central Italy, located in the Fermano area, one of the areas most suited to the cultivation of vines. Passion and respect for the environment and nature are the basis of our wine production. Each winemaking project is checked by us personally, from the bud to the harvest, which we still do manually, to ensure the selection of the best grapes. Everything originates from the passion of Graziano Santucci, founding father of the Rio Maggio estate. This happened back in 1976, a small farm, but with a big heart, that of Graziano which contained in itself a lot of passion and love for his work and the ambition to become a great wine company able to produce great wines Marche. After the death of his father, Simone Santucci, together with his wife Tiziana they decide to follow up on Graziano's passion with the aim of making the quality of the Marche wine born from these green hills of Fermo known to the whole world. Simone and Tiziana, were the first to plant vineyards for the production of two important Docs of the Marche region (between Ascoli Piceno and Macerata): Doc Rosso Piceno Doc Falerio dei Colli Ascolani In all these years Simone and Tiziana, always work with enthusiasm for their dream, to produce Great Quality Marche wines that are able to evoke memorable olfactory and gustatory sensations in tasting and transform the family business in Rio Maggio into a Brand known and affirmed all over the world… Today this dream, also thanks to you ...
