All MIMI fishes are traceable from their sources and all relevant details including name and location of the boat and crew are fully mapped and available to subscribers ensuring transparency.
The fish is introduced into chilled water immediately upon capture at sea so the rapid deterioration process that happens in tropical climates is arrested and freshness is retained for longer periods.
MIMI fishes are sourced mainly from traditional fishers and not industrial fishing boats thereby assuring the best environmental practices are followed in the capture and exploitation of our natural resources.
Since the fish is stored in special MIMI boxes at sea, it reaches the storage centers intact with minimum human handling ensuring freshness is retained and also preventing bacterial contamination.
All post harvest procedures including processing, handling and packaging are done to international and EU quality standards ensuring good hygiene and cleanliness throughout the supply chain.
The storage temperature of fish is maintained at optimum levels and monitored throughout the supply chain using refrigeration systems of international quality standards.
