Incubator of innovation and agricultural entrepreneurship.
The National Center for Agricultural Research launched the "Agricultural Innovation Incubator" initiative on February 26, 2019. It is the result of the important focused role in the dissemination of agricultural science and knowledge, which aims to transform pioneering and creative ideas into real projects that enhance the national economy, contribute to sustainable development, create job opportunities and distinct success stories. The initiative to establish an incubator for innovation and agricultural entrepreneurship came in implementation of the aspirations and visions of His Majesty King Abdullah II, which were mentioned in many of his lofty speeches, royal messages and discussion papers on innovation, creativity and excellence.
In cooperation with the Islamic Network for the Development and Management of Water Resources, one of the partners of the SMART DESERT project, led by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and funded by the French Agency for Development (AFD), it took place on Thursday 3/2/2022 under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Basma Bint Ali, in the presence of the delegate of the Minister of Agriculture and the French Ambassador, inaugurated the permanent headquarters of the Agricultural Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubator (BSI)
