The archdiocese includes the entire city of Naples with the exception of the western districts (see the Diocese of Pozzuoli) and the municipalities of Afragola, Arzano, Boscotrecase, in Calverley, Casalnuovo di Napoli (in part: see also the Diocese of Acerra and the Diocese of Nola) Casavatore, Casoria, Cercola, Ercolano, Marano di Napoli, Massa di Somma, Naples Melito, Mugnano of Naples Pollena Trocchia, Arcades, Procida, San Giorgio a Cremano, San Sebastiano al Vesuvio, the Greek Torre, Torre Annunziata (in part see also the Diocese of Nola), Trecase, Villaricca and Volla.

Archbishopric is the city of Naples, where the Metropolitan Cathedral Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta.

The territory of the Archdiocese, the first structured in pastoral areas and deaneries, has now been reorganized into 13 deaneries - which govern many deans - which, in turn, are divided into 287 parishes. [1] The deaneries are: Old Town, Health districts, Posillipo, Vomero, Vasto, Secondigliano, Scampia, Ponticelli, Marano, Casoria, Portici and Torre del Greek.
