About Recetas Cubanas
The the richest Cuban Meal mundo..Voy put recipes for Cuban, who does not know to savor our menus and recipes for my best. Cuban food is a mix of African, Spanish and indigenous or native ..
The Spanish introduced many products to Cuba, including sesame, cumin, peanuts, okra, rice, yams, corn, pumpkin, sugar cane and others.
The use of mortars was introduced by Africans in the same way that the Spaniards brought cumin from Egypt. We use cumin in fish, meat, stews, soups and rice. Garlic is one of the most common ingredients and this is well known around the world. Onions and peppers are also present in our food. Fruits and vegetables fried in butter or oil are very popular in the African continent.
In these pages it has been replaced by use of butter oil because we are now conscious of increased cholesterol. Salt is always optional, the taste of other ingredients used is more than enough, but Cubans always use it; feel free to skip it if you wish ..
