Miami at night is fantastic. There are neon art deco signs everywhere, music spilling out onto the street and cocktails on the rooftop. However, there's plenty to do during the day as well. Architecture buffs can visit the restored 12th-century Spanish monastery, the Renaissance-inspired Villa Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, or take an Art Deco boat ride on Ocean Drive. For beach lovers, there's plenty to do beyond South Beach: swim with sea turtles at Boynton Beach, windsurf at Hobie Beach, or shake off the sand and swim in Venice Pool, another architectural gem.
