The MonipezApp project seeks to develop a system that allows the artisanal fisherman to know the location of schools in the fishing areas, as well as to record fishing production, guaranteeing the sustainable use of hydrobiological resources. It is based on the Internet of Things (IoT) used in terrestrial applications for implementation in maritime environments through automated stations connected to the Internet. Aerial and amphibious drones and a sonar will be used to detect the schools of fish. Likewise, artificial intelligence techniques will be applied for image analysis and Big Data data analytics.
