The action bar on the edge of the display gives you easy access to shortcuts and quick actions. Double tap on the action bar to either turn edge display on/off or switch to the last app. Swipe in to access tools and app shortcuts. Swipe up once for recent apps and twice for the app tray. Swipe down once for notifications and twice for quick settings.
