Ivan Vazov Secondary School - Pleven is the largest educational institution in the Pleven region, which has established its appearance and style of work. It is located in Central Northern Bulgaria in a city museum, which has remained in history mainly with the landmark events during the Russo-Turkish Liberation War of 1877-1878. The school as of 2011 has 1,522 students from preschool to twelfth grade. The training is organized in 63 classes with general and specialized training - informatics, information technology, biology, literature, history. All accounts have enhanced English language learning. Language training offers students the choice of English, German, French and Russian. The school has a multimedia hall "Europe", a library with Internet access, a modern football field, six IT rooms, two of which have state-of-the-art equipment.
The school employs 112 teachers, most of them with a qualification. The average age of the teaching staff is 43 years. Recent statistics show that every year the school grows - more and more students want to study with us. First graders more than we can accept.
