The Miami Beach Time Bank wants to become a social and solidarity tool, in which we exchange time based on our needs or skills. It is a network formed by the non-profit residents of the village, who exchange their available time, in order to help, share, receive, learn skills, establish and strengthen links between neighbors, among others.
In a Time Bank there is room for all kinds of activities and aids, for example; giving English classes, DIY tasks, mountain walks, talks, making a dessert, keeping company, in short, different one-off services, all of which will have the same value, an hour of time.
Everyone is welcome in the Time Bank, we can share knowledge, skills, abilities, or just time. And in this way we will build an associative fabric, which will benefit us all.
