Check if the ID card is ready
You can collect a new ID card (including e-ID card) 30 days after submitting the application, but it is usually ready sooner. Only in special cases may the deadline be extended. The document is prepared by the Document Personalization Center in Warsaw, and is provided by the police to the commune office. Check if the ID card is ready for collection.
The e-ID is an ID card with an electronic layer. It is published from March 4, 2019. Evidence previously issued remains valid - you'll find the expiration date on every piece of evidence. You can exchange old proof for e-proof at any time.

Identity card application number - you can find it on the confirmation of submitting the application.
