All citizens of the country are entitled to get aadhaar card. This 12-digit government identification number is not mandatory, but it is used as an identity card in most government papers. On one hand the mAadhaar profile is accepted as a valid ID proof by Airports and Railways on the other resident can use the features in the app to share their eKYC or QR code with service providers who sought Aadhaar verification of their customers before providing Aadhaar services.


The application allows the users to lock and unlock their biometric details. One can use TOTP (Time based OTP), in case if there prevails any network issue. You don't need to carry the physical Aadhaar card as the mAadhaar application works similar to the physical card.


mAadhaar is official mobile application developed by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to provide an interface to Aadhaar Number Holders to carry their demographic information viz. Name, Date of Birth, Gender and Address along with photograph as linked with their Aadhaar Number in smart phones.


mAadhaar App is the official Aadhaar application launched by UIDAI in order to provide a platform for Aadhaar card holders to carry their demographic data and photograph with them on their smartphones. An Aadhaar card holder can add his profile in the app and access it whenever and wherever he wants.


The mAadhaar App was created by the UIDAI to allow Aadhaar holders to save their photograph and demographic data on their smartphones. The Aadhaar Card holder can access the information at any time. Using the same number, you can add up to five profiles to your device.


You can update your Address online in Self Service Update Portal (SSUP). For other details updates such as Demographic details (Name, Address, DoB, Gender, Mobile Number, Email) as well as Biometrics (Finger Prints, Iris & Photograph) in Aadhaar you will have to visit Permanent Enrolment Center.
