This term is taken from the name of the author, namely Al-Imam Wajihuddin Abdur Rahman bin Muhammad bin Umar bin Ali bin Yusuf bin Ahmad bin Umar ad-Diba'i Ash-Syaibani Al-Yamani Az-Zabidi Ash-Syafi'i.

"Wajihuddin 'Abdurrahman bin 'Ali bin Muhammad al-Syaibani al-Yamani al-Zubaidi al-Syafi'I (who is known as Ibn al-Daiba'i. al-Daiba' according to the Sudanese language means white. That was the nickname of his great grandfather Ibn Joseph). He was born in the month of Muharram in 866 H and died on Friday 12 Rajab in 944 H. (So his age is approximately 76 years). He is an honest, gentle speech and beautiful language. (Mawlid al-Hafidz ibn al-Daiba', p. 5)"
He was born on 4 Muharram 866 H (8 October 1461 AD) and died on Friday 12 Rajab 944 H (15 December 1537 AD). He was a famous hadith scholar and there was no equal in his lifetime. He taught the book Sahih Al-Bukhari more than 100 times khatam.
He reached the degree of Hafiz in the science of hadith, namely a person who memorized more than 100,000 hadiths with his sanad. Every day he taught hadith from mosque to mosque.
